Interboro at Rooftop Films

There’s an article about films on rooftops in today’s Times, which is funny, because on Saturday night, Interboro gave a talk at a rooftop film series! The talk was part of Rooftop Films’s premiere of “Fishkill Flea,” a documentary about the flea market that formerly inhabited the Dutchess Mall in Fishkill, NY. The event was co-sponsored by our old friends the Center for Urban Pedagogy, and was part of their People and Buildings lecture series. Interboro’s talk was about about why shopping malls die, and what happens to dead malls in the afterlife.

The event was a lot of fun! Many thanks to all of the organizers and sponsors, and to the co-presenters: Aaron, Brian, and Jennifer of the film Fishkill Flea, and Jennifer and Anthony ofLight.Work.Mood.Disorder.
