Interboro named Design Trust Fellow

01-12-2010

Interboro is pleased to announce that it has been named an Urban Design / Planning Fellow for The Design Trust for Public Space’s Made in Midtown project. Made in Midtown is a comprehensive study of the fashion industry’s presence in the Garment District and its place in New York’s creative economy. As Urban Design / Planning Fellow, Interboro will be to work closely with the Journalism and Film/Video fellows (Tom Vanderbilt and Jordan Alport, respectively), and Sarah Williams from Columbia’s SIDL to create accessible, compelling graphic representations of information about the industry, including Garment District stakeholder interests, the industry ecosystem, and lifecycles of a typical garment.

Interboro is thrilled to be working on the project, and to be part of such a great project team!
